I Looked at You and Saw the Sun

When I looked at you I saw the sun,
At first I did not see,
Blinded by translucent light,
And mysterious uncertainty.

As I looked at you I saw the sun,
Wandering 'round the sky,
So far away I could not reach,
Traveling oh so high.

Then I looked at you and saw the sun,
And I knew that there was more,
Mountains I would have to climb,
To discover truth in store.

Now I look at you and see the sun,
But no longer am I blind,
The light you shine into my world,
Enhances my life each time.
